HOW TO APPLY WATERSLIDE DECALS

1. Prepare the Surface
Make sure the model surface is clean, smooth, and free of dust, fingerprints, oil, or wax. A smooth glossy surface will generally provide the best results.

2. Cut Out the Decal
Carefully cut around the decal you want to apply. For best results, trim close to the printed design.

3. Soak in Water
Place the decal in clean, room-temperature water for approximately 15–30 seconds. Remove it from the water and allow it to sit briefly until the decal begins to slide freely from the backing paper.

4. Position the Decal
Place the backing paper next to the desired location on the model. Gently slide the decal from the paper onto the vehicle.

5. Adjust Placement
While the decal is still wet, carefully position it using a soft brush, cotton swab, or similar tool. A small amount of water can be used to help reposition the decal.

6. Remove Excess Water
Gently blot away excess water with a soft tissue or paper towel. Work carefully to remove trapped water and air bubbles without moving or damaging the decal.

7. Allow to Dry
Let the decals dry completely and avoid handling the model while they are setting.

8. Clear Coat — Recommended
Once the decals are completely dry, a compatible clear coat can be applied to help protect and seal the finished graphics. Always test your clear coat on a spare decal or test surface first.
