Waterslide Decal Application Instructions

1. Prepare the Model
Make sure the surface is clean, smooth, and free of dust, fingerprints, wax, or oils.

2. Cut Out the Decal
Carefully cut around the individual decal you wish to apply. For best results, trim close to the printed design.

3. Soak in Water
Place the decal in clean, room-temperature water for approximately 10–20 seconds, or until the decal begins to loosen from the backing paper.

4. Position the Decal
Remove the decal and backing paper from the water. Position the decal near the desired location and gently slide the decal from the backing paper onto the model.

5. Adjust Placement
While the decal is still wet, carefully move it into the correct position. A small soft brush or cotton swab can help with positioning.

6. Remove Excess Water
Gently blot the decal with a soft tissue or paper towel. Carefully work out any trapped water or air bubbles without damaging the decal.

7. Allow to Dry
Let the decals dry completely before handling the model. For best results, allow them to dry for 24 hours.

8. Clear Coat Recommended
Once completely dry, a decal-safe clear coat is recommended to help protect and seal the decals. Always test your clear coat on a spare decal or test surface first.
